Road Trip Ride 5; Little Creek Mountain

Saturday morning, Reilly and I drove from Gooseberry Mesa to Little Creek Mountain where we met Quentin from Over The Edge Sports for their Saturday morning shop ride.  Seems we weren’t the only ones lookin’ for a guided tour of these sparsely marked trails; in all we were twelve guys looking for some fun.  And boy did we find it!

The Little Creek Mountain trails were fairly similar to those we rode the day before; lots of bumps and bowels and dips and jumps all on the slick-rock top of a mesa.  Like Quentin said; “kinda the same but different.”  For sure, they were all fun!

Because they are not overly marked, it is easy for riders unfamiliar with the trails to get lost.  And after playing out there for a few hours, I believe it.  With the exception of the Prologue ride, we’ve spent all our time riding just the two of us.  So it was nice today to meet some new people and hang-out with a large group of motivated riders.  With a few, we exchanged telephone numbers in the hopes of going for a ride when we finally get to southern California.  Before then, however, there’s still Nevada to visit….
