Ten years ago I entered the
100km Paul’s Dirty Enduro mountain-bike race. It was really tough, I got pulled at the last checkpoint. I attempted it a few years later but broke my derailleur hanger and had to abandon. In fact, that’s really what this event is all about; challenging yourself, pushing hard to overcome obstacles, achieving goals once thought impossible. As part of my personal challenge–to finally complete this damn race–I’m also hoping to raise at least $1000.
