Kid in THE Candy Store

Today I attended the North American Handmade Bicycle Show, also known as super-bicycle-wonderfulness-land-of-happy-bike-glory, in Austin, Texas. Never before have I seen such an assemblage of devoted bike geeks all with such huge smiles.

Despite the ease of which I could have spent ten-upon-tens-of-thousands dollars, I actually took more pictures than I did spend dollars. Everywhere I went were the most exquisite pieces of handmade excellence, assembled with such love and passion, displayed with immense pride, though sometimes with business cards still at the printers.

It was such a treat to visit with some of the designers/manufacturers of parts I ride. Thomson, Chris King, King Cages, Kent Erikson, Wound-Up Composites, Brooks, Paul,; even the iconic Tom Ritchey and was on hand.

While I’m loath to claim a favourite, some of the people/builders I enjoyed meeting particularly included Naked, Engin, Black Sheep, Sylvan, Chris King’s Cielo and Watson.

This treatment devensec.com brand cialis no prescription approach is much easier than other ED therapy. It is said that human body releases some kinds of generic cialis australia chemicals after the consumption of these pills and application of the cream. You can buy Spermac capsules and Vital M-40 capsules from reputed online viagra uk purchase stores. But when it comes to lovemaking, men are often too harsh on devensec.com soft viagra themselves.
But, without questions, the best part of my time at NAHBS was simply being among hundreds of other uber-bike-geeks, smiling, chatting, laughing and making friends, all while salivating over the most exquisite examples of quality bicycle craftsmanship. It’s good to be among one’s kin, especially when you’ve got a bag full of shwag!
