Garden of the Gods; The Eyeball

Labour Day Weekend, the last weekend of summer.  Personally, it was a wonderful few days spent in the cool little bohemian town of Manitou Springs, outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado.  While my weekend was packed full of art, sun, espresso, smoothies and some heady times spent by the river, I did also get in a ride with my friend Clark.  Just about ninety minutes roaming around the Garden of the Gods, gazing in awe at the dramatic red rock formations.

Monday morning I received the sad news that tragically, a dear friend from Terlingua had died.  Crushing.

Like those rocks and the gods in the garden, you shall live forever Eyeball.
